A. PetroTac® is nonvolatile, environmentally safe specialized emulsion.
Q. How is PetroTac Applied?
A. PetroTac® is diluted with water from 1:1 to 1:20 and should be applied
through a pressurized spray system. SynTech offers a turn-key
application service with our fleet of computer rate controlled distributor
units or we can work with you to make sure that your equipment is
capable.
Q. What levels of control can be achieved with
PetroTac®?
A. USEPA documented levels of control exceeding 95% can be achieved with
PetroTac®. Our Dust Control Engineering team can tailor a program to
meet any goal and provide the data and verification to prove it!
Q. How much PetroTac® do I need?
A. In general application rates will vary from 0.05 gallons of concentrated
material per square yard to 0.50 gallons of concentrated material per
square yard. Application rates will vary based on factors such as traffic
type, traffic volume, traffic pattern, vehicle weights, soil type, road
conditions, application frequency, climate, and desired results/ project

Q. How long will a PetroTac® application last?
A. Many factors will influence the duration for which an application will
"last". Factors such as application intensity, traffic type, traffic volume,
traffic pattern, vehicle weights, soil type, road conditions, application
frequency, and climate will all influence results.
Ideal results are achieved under ideal conditions. Road preparation will
directly relate to application longevity. Roadways should allow for
proper drainage, potholes should be filled, excessive powder & silt
should be removed, and proper aggregate should be present. Please

Q. How is PetroTac® shipped?
A. PetroTac® can be shipped in quantities of 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon
drums, totes, tanker trucks & railcars.
